Terms of Use for Downloadable Content

1. Scope

These Terms of Use apply to all downloadable content provided through MMT (mod-mapping.team), including in particular mods, maps, scripts, AutoDrive courses and other files. By downloading and using the content, you agree to these Terms of Use.

2. Availability and Use

Mods, maps and other content provided by MMT are generally available free of charge. There is no entitlement to the permanent availability of specific content, download options or download speeds.

MMT may provide different download options and may use external download services for this purpose. Technical interruptions, restrictions or temporary outages cannot be completely excluded.

3. Restrictions on Redistribution

Content downloaded through mod-mapping.team is generally intended for personal use. Redistribution, republication or uploading to other platforms, websites or download portals is not permitted without the express permission of the respective rights holder.

Links to our content may only point to the respective original page or original download on mod-mapping.team. Existing author information, credits, ModDesc entries and other references to the authors or creators may not be removed or modified.

4. Changes and Removal of Content

MMT and the respective authors may update, modify or remove provided content at any time. There is no entitlement to the permanent availability of specific versions or content, nor to compatibility with future versions of a game or other software.

5. Liability

Use of the provided content is generally at your own responsibility. Despite careful creation and testing, technical problems, incompatibilities, mod conflicts or data loss cannot be completely excluded.

MMT's liability is governed by the applicable statutory provisions. Mandatory statutory liability claims remain unaffected.

6. Rights to the Content

All rights to the provided content remain with the respective authors, modders, mappers and other rights holders. Downloading or using content does not transfer any ownership, copyright or other rights to that content.

Where additional or different terms of use are specified for individual content, those terms shall apply additionally to the respective content.

7. V.I.P. Membership

V.I.P. membership is a voluntary way to support MMT and the continued development of our projects. It is not a requirement for general access to our mods, maps and other content offered free of charge.

V.I.P. members receive additional benefits, including a special V.I.P. status, downloads via WeTransfer and early access to selected test and beta versions. V.I.P. membership is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.

8. Download Services

We use external download services to provide our downloads. V.I.P. members generally receive their downloads via WeTransfer. Regular downloads for non-V.I.P. users are provided via WeTransfer and Rapidgator.

Individual smaller downloads, such as AutoDrive courses or comparable files, may additionally be provided via Sharemods.

The respective terms of use and privacy policies of these external providers may also apply when using their services. MMT has no control over their availability, download speeds or technical operation.

9. Changes to these Terms of Use

MMT reserves the right to amend these Terms of Use where necessary, for example due to technical, organizational or legal changes. The current version will be published on mod-mapping.team.

10. Final Provisions

The laws of the Federal Republic of Germany shall apply, subject to mandatory statutory consumer protection provisions.

Should individual provisions of these Terms of Use be or become wholly or partially invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
